Q. Has anyone else noticed how everything on paper is always asking you what race you are? Well, I am completely aware that the U.S. Census considers the Semitic people as Caucasian... Here is something that I got from wikipedia... "It is also true for many Arab and other Middle Eastern Americans and North African Americans, as well as non-European Jewish Americans, since the 2000 Census conflates race and geographic/national origin: white is defined to include people with original origins in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa." OK... one problem. My skin is a bronze color with yellow undertones...I have tight wavy hair, etc. I look Native American. How the hell am I supposed to convince someone that I am supposedly "White"? Say I… [cont.]

A. It's illegal in the US to ask someone's race for the purpose of employment. You should never have to answer that question, and if you do, you should always have "other" as an option.
