What is the best cruise to take for your first cruise?
Q. We are looking to book a cruise in September/October, it will be our first cruise. We are looking at a Cranival Cruise to Grand Caymen and Ochios Rios. Is this a good one? Good line? There are so many to choose from. And the ship is supposed to be a big deal, this is on Freedom. Thanks for the help.

What is the best cruise for two 18 year olds?
Q. My friend and I are 18 and looking into cruises for the summer before college. We are looking for both fun and relaxation. We are looking more for the Caribbean cruise and whatnot, and would like more nightlife than some cruise lines seem to offer. I've been on Royal Caribbean once before and it was relaxing but definitely meant more for little kids or older adults. Can anyone help?

A. At least one of the persons in the cabin must be at least 21. Assuming you are going with parents or someone at least 21, I suggest Carnival. You are not going to be able to buy alcoholic drinks on board, though. They are very strict about that. In the Caribbean countries, you can drink at 18, but do not miss the ship by drinking too much. The ship does not wait beyond the scheduled departure time for anyone - except maybe the Captain. Personally, I would suggest you and your friend go to an all-inclusive resort in Dominican Republic. They have good beaches, good fun at the resorts, and no problem doing all the drinking you want. Everything is included at one price.

What tips do you have for taking a cruise?
Q. I am planning on taking a cruise in November for 7 nights. What suggestions does everyone have for the best cruise? Location? Ship? What tips do you have for taking a cruise in general? I do not have kids. I was leaning towards the Eastern Caribbean or Southern Caribbean. I would be flying from Cincinnati down to Florida. I do not like the cold weather at all. I like kids, but I don't want a bunch of unsupervised children running around on the cruise ship.

A. defiantly carnival Cruises. I've took two already with carnival and my third with carnival will be in 9 days. I do recommend going on Carnival Miracle [8 day cruise] Or Carnival Glory [7 day] Glory has a 7 day cruise leaving out of Port Canaveral for November 22, 2008. It's going to: St.Maarten St.Thomas,USVI & Nassu, Bahamas It's a Eastern Caribean. Glory is probally about 5 years old at my best guess so it's not outdated. & It has Internet Service thats accessable on any laptop for free [wifi] and they have cellphone service, though it's 2.67 a minute on the boat so i do recommend that you use your cellphone on the islands. Nassu,bahamas=67 Cents a Minute St.Maarten=1.67 Cents a Minute St.Thomas=1.67 Cents a Minute. So my BEST guess… [cont.]
