President Saca and U.S President Bush have extended TPS ( temporary protection status) since El Salvador provided aid for the War In Iraq it has benefited people from El Salvador in the U.S Sports El Salvador won a game against Hati! Also there has more asian influence in the country in terms of buissness might want to check that out :)

Why in school do kids not learn about current and recent events?
Q. Such as the first and second world war, current events and people. Why do they learn about kings for 500 years ago, different countrys and the dinosaurs?

A. History is a very important subject to learn. Those kings and dinasaurs have always fascinated people and will continue to be taught in classrooms for generations and generations. And world geography should be taught. The country which you live in, is not the center of the universe and it should not be treated as such. And the World Wars are thoroughly taught (sometimes over emphasized) in classrooms and are not considered current events as WWI happened about a century ago. However, I also believe that it is just as important, if not more, for students to be educated in current events. I have had only a few teachers who have discussed current events, and those discussions were rare and usually limited and one-sided. I recall one… [cont.]
