I have never lived in Richmond, but I have family that has lived there for 40 + years. I have visited Richmond too many times to count. The Triangle has more and better State & City parks. The Triangle has more miles of walking trails. I have been told by many people that the State Farmer's Market in Raleigh is one of the biggest and best in the South.
