What is the normal amount for a person with a healthy cleansed colon or is on a regular colon cleanse regiment? Please site your source for the answer to this question. Thanks! Asked by Brenda B - Fri Sep 5 04:01:48 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. It's basically impossible to predict. Many of these 'cleansing' procedures are not particularly healthy - in addition to having no actual health benefits. For some people it is normal to have a bowel movement only two times a week, for others, daily. Either is completely normal, and there's nothing pathological about either. Many 'cleansing' regimens severely disrupt the internal flora and absorption processes of the GI tract. This can result in a slowing of bowel movements and constipation all the way to constant runny diarrhea. That's of course for those regimens that actually do anything to the GI system at all. Basically, it's impossible to gauge health or normalcy from bowel movements. There's a huge range, and despite what the… [cont.] Answered by Az R - Fri Sep 5 04:20:07 2008 How irregular are movements when they first start? Q. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and yesterday morning was the first time I felt what may be movement. I felt two movements just below my belly button and one a little bit lower down and to the right. But since then I haven't felt anything. What if I don't again for ages? Is that ok? Is it possible that what I felt wasn't the baby moving? Asked by happy wife and mum - Sat Jun 28 07:53:31 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. It's very possible that what you felt was the baby moving. Your baby actually moves as soon as it can, you just can't feel it yet. So if you don't feel anything for a while, it doesn't mean that the baby isn't moving, it just means you can't feel it. But usually around 20 weeks is when you first feel those little butterfly movements, and you may not feel them again for a few days, or you may feel them every day from now on! Every baby is different. Both of mine were very active and I actually felt the first movements of my first born at about this time. It's a strange, butterfly feeling just below your belly button. I wouldn't worry if you don't feel it again for a while! That happens! Answered by Shazza - Sat Jun 28 08:01:02 2008 What's the best way to reduce the size of bowel movements?
Q. Colon cancer and hemorroids run in my family. Both my father and grandfather had large bowel movements and so do I. I've thought about adding a fiber supplement to my diet to increase the frequency, and have also heard about fish oils...what's the real deal on how to reduce the risk of hemorroids and colon cancer? Also, I only eat two meals a day and am slim with high-metabolism, so over-eating isn't a problem here. (Is metabolism even a factor?) I also don't drink. I've seen these shows on TV that say you're supposed to be having bowel movements all the time. I'm doing good to have one every other day. Drink lots of water and get plenty of exercise. These will both help reduce the cancer and hemmoroid risks, plus will move your bowels enough to keep them small. Don't add a fiber supplement due to them making your bowels larger (they do me). Fruits and veggies are better. Be sure to get tested (colonoscopy). If you haven't yet had a colonoscopy, get one now. Your doctor should recommend it since colon cancer is in your family. My doctor did and I had my first one when I was 38 (I'm 44 now). Colonoscopies will ensure you're clear and will catch any sign of cancer early enough to stop it. I know many people who got colon cancer, but died from it… [cont.] Answered by Tara662 - Fri May 18 11:56:33 2007 From Yahoo Answer Search: "movements" Panerai P.9000 Watch Movements To Be Shown In
