Protest expresses relatively overt reaction to events or situations: sometimes in favor, though more often opposed. Protesters may organize a protest as a way of publicly and forcefully making their opinions heard in an attempt to influence public opinion or government policy, or may undertake direct action in an attempt to directly enact desired changes themselves.

Self-expression can, in theory, in practice or in appearance, be restricted by governmental policy, economic circumstances, religious orthodoxy, social structures, or media monopoly. When such restrictions occur, opposition may spill over into other areas such as culture, the streets or emigration.

A protest can itself sometimes be the subject of a counter-protest. In such a case, counter-protesters demonstrate their support for the person, policy, action, etc. that is the subject of the original protest.

What is the easiest Protest the Hero song to play?
Q. I'm looking to learn how to play a little Protest the Hero on guitar but I'm having trouble deciding which one to play. Preferably one that is the easiest to play. Any suggestions? Thanks!

A. They're all hard xD Thats what makes them cool. My advice would be to go on youtube and search for people playing them.. Just to visually see which ones look easier.. Also, you could just look for some tabs on the internet, and see which ones are easiest. Heres a website with some: Heres just guitar tabs: And heres pro guitar tabs: Just have a browse through them and find one you like.. If they all look hard just pick one and practise at it. Also, if that website isnt good just google "protest the hero guitar tabs".. If you just want my opinion though, I guess "Godess Gagged" is easier then the rest.. By the way: You listen to awesome music =D xoDee

A. hmmm good question cant help you with your hw sorry dont know myself, interesting tho, protests show the people in charge how outraged they are but apart from that it does nothing really, political protests work well because the goverment has to listen to the people if it wants to be voted in again so stopping the veitnam war for instnace that protest worked eventualy but for the bank situation the g20 summit the mass protests werent really going to have any effect, the bankers arent really going to get worried people smashed a few windows and marched around in large numbers, thats why i think boycotting is the way to go what are wealthy bankers going to be more worried about that or if everyone boycots them and starts becoming self… [cont.]
